Background and Insight:
The Amazon is a natural patrimony of the humanity and reason for Brazilian pride. However, it has suffered from irresponsible deforestation for decades. Only in 2020, there was a 29% increase of that depredation. For Jeep, an off-road and adventurous spirit company, the destruction of nature also brings another problem: the end of the outstanding adventure trails that our clients could do one day.
Idea:
On Nature Day, Jeep joined the Quatro Rodas Brazilian magazine to create a travel guide made only with trails that don’t deserve anyone's visit: trials that expose the alarming situation of the Amazon extermination.
How it worked:
From images captured by satellite, we analyzed and mapped all the new deforestation trails and invited influencers to record them on a live. All this material was transformed into a special edition of the Quatro Rodas Guide that was sent to all the authorities responsible for environmental protection in the Amazon region. At the end of the guide, a petition asked for an end to the exploitation of the forest.
